14: Journal Like You Mean It

Today, I filled out the last couple of pages of a notebook (and I'm excited to break out a new one for June!).

For most of May (specifically for 28 days), I was able to journal—a habit I've been wanting to build but have been avoiding ever since 2023 started. And it feels great to have made so much progress with facing my feelings.

Writing has helped me untangle my complicated emotions, trace the thoughts that brought them about, and even calm down when I'm overwrought with anxiety.

If you haven't been journaling lately, this is your sign to start again.
