12: If We Keep Practicing Our Craft

Ever turned on a faucet that hasn't been used for a long time? The first rush of water is usually dirty and smells rusty, so you have to wait a few seconds before the clean water comes out.

I found that it's the same with writing.

So far, since I've started writing again, I haven't posted anything I'm proud of. In fact, I cringe at every one of my recent posts.

But that's okay.

I only have to keep practicing long enough until better writing comes out again.
