#124: On Letting Go

"Don't think about what you've left behind...

If what one finds is made of pure matter, it will never spoil. And one can always come back.

If what you had found was only a moment of light, like the explosion of a star, you would find nothing on your return."

— An excerpt from The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

If a job, friendship, relationship, or dream is for you, time won't tarnish the way you treasure it.

And even if months or years go by, you can come back and feel the same fondness. It will feel like coming home.

The catch is, sometimes, you'll only know for sure what's real from what's not when you loosen your grip and let go.
