50: Putting Feelings Into Words
My stomach's tied in knots, there's a lump in my throat.
I look up, at the skies and at the stars. I blink just enough times to keep the tears from welling up and falling down my cheeks.
And my heart, it weighs a ton on my chest.
"If I only gave my best..."
Cruel thoughts run through my head, like trains right on track and schedule.
And I repeat the same mistakes—like a fool.
The worst part is feeling lonely, with no one to hold me.
At least not while I'm in this state, where I don't even recognize me.
