#88: Everything Is Fleeting
My twenty-two-year-old uncle passed away this morning.
This was a sobering news to our family. It reminded me that everything—pain, happiness, success, failure, even life—is fleeting. Nothing lasts forever. And I don't mean to say that in a cynical way.
I say that as a loving reminder: nothing lasts forever. So hold the people you love dear, don't forget to let them know how much they mean to you, and don't get caught up chasing money, fame, or selfish pleasure. Let go of pride and humbly ask for forgiveness (and forgive others too), share your blessings, and keep your faith in God.
Make time for what matters most because everything is fleeting.
